NothingHere Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

No data collection

NothingHere does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to third-party servers. Everything the app records stays on your device, and — if you turn on iCloud — in your own private iCloud container.

iCloud sync

Where NothingHere offers iCloud sync, it uses Apple CloudKit to move data between your own devices. That data is encrypted and stored in your private CloudKit container, reachable only through your Apple ID. The developer has no access to it.

No third-party SDKs

NothingHere contains zero third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. There are no ads, no trackers, and no data brokers involved.

System frameworks

NothingHere uses Apple system frameworks exclusively. Any permission the app asks for is used only for the feature it is requested for, and is never used to build a profile of you or shared with anyone.

Your choices

You can revoke any permission at any time in system Settings, and delete your data by deleting it in-app or removing the app. Because nothing is held on a server, there is no remote copy left behind.

Children's privacy

NothingHere is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Since the app collects no personal data at all, there is nothing to collect from any user.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
